Key Structures created The Danish Quarter, working alongside Better-Green to assist with their project for Live Nation and end client Carlsberg. Carlsberg’s proposal was to venture to music festivals across the UK throughout summer to celebrate Festivals the Danish Way, anticipate pop-up bars, this is where we came in.
Our assignment was to create the main bar, with two smaller sections, open sided to create a beer garden feel. To achieve this, the Key Structures team installed a 9m x 24m clear-span structure with two additional 9m x 9m clear-spans, all seamlessly linked. Our marquees sat on a spirit levelled floor and were fitted with clear roofs, delivering natural light. Finally, we finished with a seamless natural carpet, covering all flooring. Once installed, team Green fitted internally and externally, all the requirements to generate The Danish Quarter bar, including a custom bar, lighting and DJ Booth.
These bespoke builds had our team touring the UK to build at Latitude Festival, RiZE Festival and Reading Festival. The pop-up bar proved to be one of the most popular in each location, with acoustic artists live throughout the day and a DJ until the early hours – the definition of Hygge!
It’s always a pleasure working with the Better-Green team and we look forward to future projects!
